Fourteen years after the last Tomnacross team competed in the MacKay Cup, a team from the school played their first round game last night away to Invergarry/Kilchuimen. The team of 6 girls and 7 boys, currently coached by Steve Ogston and Fiona Urquhart, sealed a decisive 8-1 victory, with Archie Bell scoring 5 and Tyler Cain grabbing a hat-trick. In the next round Tomnacross will host Newtonmore at Balgate on Thursday 12th May, with a 6 p.m. throw-up. Good luck Tomnacross!
