Results and Fixtures

The ladies team have been promoted to the National First Division following a 6-0 win over Glengarry in the league play-off. The game was played at the Bught Park on Sunday in fairly miserable conditions but credit to the girls for making it such a memorable occasion.

On Saturday, the U14’s were beaten 3-2 by Inverness.

Looking ahead, the only game next weekend is for the U14’s when they take on Strathglass in Cannich at 11am.

Results and Fixtures

The senior team lost out to Oban Camanachd in a lacklustre game at balgate in the Premiership. Both sides struggled to make their pressure count and with the game tied at 1-1 for a long spell it looked like finishing off that way, however Oban grabbed a late winner to take both points.

The ladies had another good win in North Division 1, beating Inverness 8-0 at the Bught.

This weekend only the U14s are in action with their rescheduled match away to Ardnamurchan.

Last weekend both senior and junior games were rescheduled for October 15th. Also the U14s game at Ardnamurchan was postponed – rescheduled date TBC.

This week, the first team are home to Oban Camanachd in the Premier league. 2.30pm start and on Sunday the ladies play Inverness at the Bught Park. Lets hope for better weather this time around!

Fixtures and results

Last weekend the U14’s were in action against Inverness but were unfortunately beaten 10-1. The ladies however, had another good win beating Strathspey 4-3 at balgate in a close match. Goals were scored by Fiona Urquhart (2), Chloe MacMillan and Laura Gallacher.

This weekend sees the mens teams back in action, with the 1st team away to Kinlochshiel in the Premiership. The 2’s will travel to Kingussie for their final game of the season in North Division 1. Also, on Friday night the U14s make the journey to Ardnamurchan.

Results and Fixtures

Unfortunately the senior team were defeated 5-0 by Newtonmore at the Eilan in this weekends only fixture.

Looking ahead to next weekend the U14’s get things started with a home game to Inverness. Then on sunday the ladies have a home game against Strathspey.

Results and Fixtures

Last weekend the 2nd team were beaten at home 8-4 by a very strong Strathglass side at balgate. Strathglass look to be on course to take the North Division One title and certainly showed their strength on saturday.

This weekend only the senior team are in action with a trip to An Aird where they take on Fort William in the Premier League. 2.30pm throw up.

Results and fixtures

Both the mens teams were beaten this weekend unfortunately. The 2nd team lost out to a strong Beauly side on Friday evening 5-0. This was a disappointing result against our local rivals however there was no doubting that Beauly were the stronger team and deserved the win. The 1st team suffered an away defeat to Lochaber 4-2. The squad are missing some of their strong players due to injury and Lochaber proved to be too strong.

The U17’s were playing in Cannich on Sunday in the George Phimister 6’s competition. Unfortunately losing top player Mark Kelly to a thumb injury cost the side against Drum and Beauly.

The U17’s are in action again Tuesday 7th, away to Glengarry at 7pm in the development league. The U14’s face Strathglass in Cannich on Friday evening.

This weekend the 1’s are away to local rivals Drum in a 1pm throw up to allow spectators time to get to the Bught for the MacTavish Final where Lochaber meet Newtonmore.

The ladies team will be in action on Sunday at 2.30pm where they play new side Inverness at the Balgate.

Results and Fixtures

The past week has seen quite a few games, and here is a quick roundup. The U14’s were at home to Glenurquhart on Friday – unfortunately beaten 8-0. The U17 team had a strong win at home to Glengarry in their first development league game 10-0. The 2nd team were beaten at home by a very good Fort William side 6-0 and the seniors had to make do with a 0-0 draw in Portree in their premiership tie.

This weekend the U14s will travel to Strathpeffer to take on Caberfeidh, the U17s won’t have a match. The 2nd team are away to Portree to play Skye in North Division 1 (note 12 o’clock start). The 1st team are away to Kingussie in the Premier League.

Results and Fixtures

Not a great weekend for the club, with U14’s, 2nd and 1st teams all being defeated. The U14’s were unfortunate at Drumnadrochit on Friday to come up against a very strong Glenurquhart team. Despite the 8-0 scoreline, there are some good signs for the coming years in this age group. The 2nd team suffered the same scoreline away to Newtonmore where their experience showed through against a depleted Lovat side.

At Balgate, the first team put on a good performance in the 1st half and the crowd were hopeful of a result but unfortunately Newtonmore had too many chances and finished the game 4-0.

This weekend has a busy fixture list with the U14’s at home to Caberfeidh on Friday evening. The 2nd team are away to Kinlochshiel in the 2nd round of the Sutherland Cup for a 12 o’clock start. Then the 1st team are home to Lochaber in the MacAulay Cup first round and will be looking to put last weekend’s result behind them. 2.30pm throw up. Then on sunday the ladies team are away to Glengarry in North Division Two.

Good luck to all teams and lets hope for better weather!
