Despite a smaller than normal squad, we competed well with a young team.
After a fiery start to the game, Greg scored with an unstopable volley.
A couple of mistakes however led to Glen scoring 2 well taken goals, and they added a third before the interval.
In the second half we had the majority of the pressure, though glen created some decent chances on the break.
No more goals were scored, but this was a good overall performance from the team despite the result, and this bodes well for the future.
As possibly the youngest team in the league, it is good to see that the team fears no-one and knows that it is capable of competing with the best.
It was especially good experience for 14 year old Danny Kelly on saturday. He played for 15 minutes in his first Premiership game, and didnt look out of place- and is definatly one for the future.
