Final game of the season, and we finished the way we started with a draw.
On this occasion it was against the Macaulay and Celtic Cup winners from Tighnabruaich, who had endured a longer than normal journey due to a serious road accident. The match therefore started at 4pm and though not a classic gave both teams the chance to experiment.
With no goals being scored in the first half, the second half finally produced a goal with Graeme tapping home after some good lead up play. Four minutes later, however, Kyles equalised with a similar type goal.
Both teams pushed for a winner, but both defences remained firm and the game finished with a deserved point apiece.
Another good improvement this season against Kyles, taking 3 out of 4 points against one of the very best teams….compared to 1 point last season.
A decent result, especially considering we’ve only had one other game in the last 8 weeks and havent been able to train due to the dark nights since a fortnight.
