This weekend unfortunately saw the first team put out of the Camanachd Cup, with favourites Newtonmore coming through a tough match 4-1. The game was very close until the last ten minutes and Lovat definitely consider themselves unfortunate to have lost the tie despite having so much pressure. Good to see Calum Cruden beginning his recovery from an earlier injury.
The ladies team however, came through a tough encounter away to Glengarry 6-4 and are now through to the semi final of the challenge cup.
On friday night (3rd June) the 2nd team take on Beauly in the league, starting 7pm at balgate. The 1st team are away to Lochaber in the Premier League (Spean Bridge 2.30pm). Next week the U17’s will travel to Glengarry (Tuesday) for the 3rd game in their development league.
