Results and fixtures

Last weekend started with the U14’s away trip to Cannich, where they were beaten 4-1 by Strathglass. Despite the loss this young squad are making good progress this year and the future is looking bright for this group. On Saturday the 1st team travelled over the hill to Drumnadrochit and put on a great performance to win 5-2 with goals from Kevin Bartlett (2), Graeme MacMillan and Calum MacAulay (2). Unfortunately the game was marred for Lovat with an unfortunate shoulder injury to Craig Mainland.

The ladies then topped it off with a 10-1 win against Inverness. Special mention to young Ellie MacKinnon scoring her first goal for the ladies team!

The U17’s have come through the development league as winners following a 4-0 win over Inverness.

This weekend will see the 1st team travel to Tighnabruiach to face Kyles in the premier league. The 2nd team are also away to Aberdeen in the Strathdearn Cup. The ladies on Sunday will be at the Bught for the semi final of the Marine Harvest Challenge Cup at 1pm vs Dunadd (Lochgilphead).

Don’t forget that kids shinty is back to normal on Friday evenings (6-7pm at Tomnacross), and the club are holding a fun BBQ evening at Balgate on Friday 1st July to round off the summer.
