Lovat Ladies Shinty Team are part of Lovat Shinty Club, based in Kiltarlity (Near Inverness). The team was started by Gemma Bell & Gillian Currie in the winter of 2010, with the aim to create a positive, healthy & social environment for girls & women in the area and the opportunity to participate in a Team Sport.
Players from age 12 can take part in ladies’ competitions. The ladies take part in two competitions, Mowi North Division 2 and the Challenge Cup. There is also a development set up whereby each club within an area group takes turns to host development-level games.
