Lovat’s youth teams cover ages from Nursery 4 to U17. Competitive shinty is offered to the following age groups – U12, U14 and U17. In coaching the younger players up to U12, we aim to develop their shinty skills while ensuring that the fun element is to the fore.
Nursery to P7s are offered indoor First Shinty from October to March in Kiltarlity Village Hall on Friday evenings and outdoors at Balgate park from April to the October break. There are also girls only sessions on Tuesday evenings over the same periods.
